Bristol Office | You Did it! | Over £58,000 raised for GWAAC

Wow.

We set the target at £5,000, then up’d it to £10,000, and then to £15,000…and somehow ended up at £58,000!

This is truly transformational for our air ambulance charity; you have funded 29 missions...everything...that's 29 people who might not be here without our doctors and paramedics. Your support enabled us to bring the hospital to them in their hour of need.

The 3 Peaks challenge, the 10kms, the toughmudder, the textile drives, the sweepstakes, the cake sales, the abseils...all of this resulted in 584 people donating to this page and over 30 separate fundraisers setup in aid of GWAAC.

Thank you. See you in 2026!

Joe, Charlie, and the GWAAC Team

This is the official Team GWAAC Bevan Brittan Fundraising page, which we'll use throughout our partnership to keep track of the support we're able to provide this lifesaving charity.

As they look to bring the hospital Emergency Department to people in desperate need, we will look to fund enough money to pay for things like flight suits (£250), helmets (£1750), and fuel (£50,000 for the year!) for their helicopter.

What Our Support Will Help Fund

Why GWAAC?

As part of its Responsible Business programme, Bevan Brittan have chosen to support the incredible work of the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity and will, as a result, be helping to save lives across Bristol, B&NES, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, and Gloucestershire.

Bevan Brittan are now part of a team that ensures the most sick and injured people in our shared community receive the best possible chance on their worst day; GWAAC's Specialist Paramedics and Critical Care Doctors perform hospital Emergency Department care, but at the roadside. By getting this specialist team to the patient – fast – they save lives that would otherwise be lost.

GWAAC, a history Our local air ambulance charity are in the unenviable position of being both busier than ever but at the same time facing reduced forecasted income as a result of the global pandemic, COVID-19. As a charity, with no day to day Government funding and no National Lottery support, it is on our community to ensure that this incredible team can continue to be there for people in desperate need.
