My Story
I'm Going Down the Gate for GWAAC!
On Sunday May 3rd, I will be abseiling 75ft from the roof of Ashton Gate Stadium to raise money for Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.
Their specialist crew are on call every day to provide emergency pre-hospital care to people who are critically ill or injured in Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, North Somerset and parts of Wiltshire.
The Specialist Paramedics in Critical Care and Critical Care Doctors bring the skills and experience of a hospital emergency department to the patient, wherever they need it. This includes things like blood transfusions, minor surgeries, and administer anaesthetics. But unlike in a hospital emergency department their crew can do all of that in the middle of nowhere, in the dark and in the rain!
Every penny raised will help keep their helicopter flying and give them the tools they need to provide emergency pre-hospital care to the people of Bristol, Bath, and beyond.
