Assembly: London to Bristol bike ride - in aid of the Sam Polledri Foundation
Assembly Bristol
Fundraising in memory of Sam Polledri
My Story
This year various members of the Assembly team are cycling from London to Assembly Bristol on 12th September in support of the Sam Polledri Foundation and Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, with the aim of raising funds for a new publicly accessible defibrillator at Assembly.
The Sam Polledri Foundation, working in partnership with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC), was set up in memory of 24-year-old Sam who sadly passed away on 26 February 2022 while on a night out with friends. Sam could have possibly been saved if there was publicly accessible defib close by. The foundation has been doing great things, working with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity to install defibs all around Bristol. Assembly would like to support the charity and add to the current network of defribs and install one at Assembly.
Over the years various members of the Assembly team have been involved with fund raising initiatives and most recently the team rode from Birmingham to Bristol with over 50 members of the Assembly team taking part. This year will be the 5th Assembly cycle ride and we are looking forward to supporting the Sam Polledri Foundation and Great Western Air Ambulance Charity in 2025.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will help motivate the team on their 120 mile cycle ride on 12th September.
